My levels were checked. 18K, then 48 hours later, 26.6K. My doctor said that was perfectly normal and that after 10-15K they start taking 3.5-4 days to double, then plateau off.Thank GOD she didn’t listen to him. She knew it had to be a mistake. She had her blood test a week later, and then the following week showed that her HCG levels were indeed doubling. Sure enough, the NEXT ultrasound showed the baby. He’s now 9 months old—happy and healthy. Glad everything worked out for you!
